Abhishek Bachchan had recently come on Riteish Deshmukh’s show “Case Toh Banta Hai”, and he went all shy when it came to a playful conversation about his family. Riteish teased Abhishek saying, “Amitabh ji, Aishwarya, Aaradhya, aur aap Abhishek-sabke naam ‘A’ se shuru hote hain (All of your names start with A).” during the course of the show as the first alphabet of all Bachchan-family names is an ‘A’. Then what about Jaya aunty and Shweta?”
Abhishek, laughing, replied, “You’ll have to ask them about that. But it seems to have become a tradition in our family—Abhishek, Aaradhya…”
Not missing a beat, Riteish interrupted, asking, “After Aaradhya?” Abhishek humorously responded, “No, let’s wait for the next generation for that.” Riteish then quipped, “Who waits that long? Like Riteish, Riaan, Rahyl (his two sons), Abhishek, Aaradhya…” Abhishek, clearly amused but embarrassed, replied, “Show some respect for age, Riteish. I’m older than you.” Riteish wrapped up the lighthearted banter by jokingly touching Abhishek’s feet.
Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai, who welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011, recently faced rumors of separation. Speculation arose after the couple arrived separately at Anant Ambani’s wedding, and Abhishek was notably absent from Aishwarya’s birthday post for Aaradhya. However, it was later clarified that he was present for their daughter’s celebration. The couple also dispelled rumors when they attended a wedding together, with their photos widely shared online.
Abhishek Bachchan’s Upcoming Projects
Abhishek was last seen in I Want To Talk, which, despite positive reviews, struggled at the box office. His upcoming slate includes Housefull 5, alongside Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, Fardeen Khan, and Nargis Fakhri. He will also appear as a villain in Shah Rukh Khan’s King and star in Remo D’Souza’s dance film Be Happy, set to premiere on Prime Video India.
