Early Life and Introduction to Kabaddi
Sudhakar hails from an agricultural background; his father, Maruthamuthu, is an agriculturist. Kabaddi is the game that lies deep in the culture of a village called Palayanallur, and the game influenced him since his young days. His kabaddi trainings began when he was at the age of 12 years and he played some local and district-level tournaments by being a part of the Pasaparavai Palayanallur club.
Career Highlights

With a burning passion for kabaddi, Sudhakar represented Bharathidasan University and helped them win the South Zone Inter-University Kabaddi (Men) Tournament. His great performances were noticed by the selectors, and he was selected by the Integral Coach Factory of Chennai, a wing of Indian Railways that offered him a job and an opportunity to continue refining his art.
In October 2023, Sudhakar received a boost to his career by signing with Patna Pirates for Season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) in the New Young Player (NYP) category at ₹13 lakhs. In his debut season, he played in 19 matches and earned 105 points with three Super 10s. He, therefore, established himself as a good raider.

Sudhakar is a favorite left raider. He is an excellent raider with rapid movements and strategies for raids. Sudhakar is a regular threat to his opponents due to his agility, which he combines with precise kicks in the execution.
