Indian television actress and model, Shruti Kanwar was born in 1991 into a Bengali family in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. As a child, she attended D.B.M.S. English School in her hometown. Growing up in a Hindu household, Shruti also aspired to be an actress very early in life, and after completing her schooling, she relocated to Mumbai to fulfill her dream. Shruti’s career saw the onset of her major part in a popular Ekta Kapoor TV series Pavitra Rishta (2011-2014). She portrayed Ovi, both the offspring of lead characters Archana (Ankita Lokhande), and Manav (Hiten Tejwani), among many others. Performing so, she garnered a lot of recognition and love.
