In college, she did martial arts, not to box or kickbox, to build that same internal strength and self-esteem. Nushrratt experienced rough times like most people in the film business, when she was done without work, and that was hard for her to endure. Instead of going down the bad route, she was lucky to rely on her few best friends and family to support her during rough times. Nushrratt believes people should ideally have support when pursuing their big dreams.

Prayer makes Nushrratt feel peaceful, and she believes in the value of prayer, including namaz, and that she enjoys visiting temples and churches without prejudice to any one faith.
