Launch Date
Given the second week of July 2025, the show had yet to announce any official premiere date for City of Dreams Season 4. Nevertheless, according to the sources, it has been predicted for Summer 2025 somewhere in these parts around midyear on Disney+ Hotstar. Another date that was bandied about was that of January 2025, but this seems somewhat unlikely and is unconfirmed. Summer 2025 appears to remain the likely timeframe of choice unless we get the date from the Disney+ Hotstar creators, which is rare.
Cast
All the main cast members listed below are expected to return, including:
Priya Bapat as Poornima Gaikwad.
Siddharth Chandekar (Ashish Rao Gaikwad)
Eijaz Khan (Inspector Wasim Khan)
Atul Kulkarni (Ameya Rao Gaikwad ‘Sahib’)
Sushant Singh (Jagan Hejmadi ‘Anna’)
Sachin Pilgaonkar (Jagdish Gurav, CM)
Additional: Devas Dixit, Vishwas Kini, Sandeep Kulkarni, Rakesh Dubey, Uday Tikekar, Amrita Bagchi, and a few others.
Regarding possible new cast members, there are rumors that new players may enter the political scene in Season 4, but information is scant.
Plot & Expectations
It is expected that Season 4 will focus on the complicated internal power play within the Gaikwad family and their political rivals. The season 3 finale was full of shocking moments wherein Poornima forced out her sister and finally her father, and with that, she laid the groundwork for fierce succession battles and shifting allegiances. Actor Eijaz Khan has hinted at exploring the origins of Wasim Khan, possibly in the form of a spin-off, which would enrich character ties with the current ensemble.
With no trailer out as yet, it might drop a few months before the premiere date, that is, early to mid-2025, assuming that production stays on schedule, judging from the previous seasons.
Where to Watch
Much like its shared edition, Season 4 will be held exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Previous editions appeared first there, but festive continues to remain the prerogative platform, although offers may vary from region to region, requiring a valid subscription.
