In 2021, Manasi finished second in Super Singer 3, a Bengali singing reality series on Star Jalsha. Her major break came in early 2025 when she participated in Indian Idol Season 15, which was broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. She was crowned the winner on April 6, 2025, and she received a car and ₹25 lakh in prize money.
The Momentum After Indian Idol
Manasi revealed after her victory that she had previously recorded her first Bollywood playback song, a duet with Shaan for the movie Mannu Kya Karega, under the direction of Lalit Pandit. She also disclosed her intention to work with rapper Badshah and stated that she hopes to perform for Bollywood superstars such as Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. In addition to her live performances, she is still an avid fan of fitness, travel, and cats (her pet is named Chiku).
