So, Telugu TV, right? It’s ALWAYS been big on drama, seriously—like, if you haven’t bawled your eyes out or shouted at the screen, are you even watching? And then comes Gorintaku on Star Maa, which basically grabbed everyone’s attention since it dropped on July 29, 2019. People just can’t seem to get enough—mainly ’cause it’s got that secret sauce: crazy-good plot twists, actors who actually act (no cardboard cutouts here), and all those juicy themes like love, sacrifice, you name it.

Let’s get into the meat. Gorintaku’s heart is Srivalli—she’s a widow, trying to hold her family together while, ya know, life throws rocks at her. The kind of emotional chaos that gets you all in your feelings. She’s a boss, real talk. Then you’ve got Pardhu, local rowdy with a soft spot. I’m talking the type of guy who looks like he could knock someone out but ends up catching feelings instead (sigh). Together, their story runs the show, mixing romance, drama, and all sorts of life lessons without getting preachy.

Honestly, Gorintaku isn’t subtle about showing how much women shoulder in crisis—and maybe that’s the point. It pushes out the message that a little grit goes a long way, and I respect that. Plus, there’s legit chemistry and no case of “who the heck cast these people?”

The cast? Straight-up stacked. Kavyashree KILLS it as Srivalli—like, you believe every heartbreak and win. Nikhil Maliyakkal as Pardhu ain’t just muscle, there’s legit nuance there (didn’t see that coming). Support squad—Sri Rithika, Sameera Sherief, Anju Asrani, Anjali Kotipati, Rithu Chowdary—nobody’s just filler. Each episode feels like, “yep, been there, seen that neighbour aunt do exactly that.” Shoutout to the rest of the roster too—Vijay Yadav and the gang, all adding to the drama stew.
