One of AA Films’ most notable achievements was collaborating with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions to distribute the Hindi version of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which grossed over ₹1,000 crore.

In addition to independent distribution, Thadani partnered with Rohit Khattar, founder of Cinestaan, to form a joint venture called Cineestan AA Distributors. He also serves as director of companies like Bhagwanti Tex-Overseas Pvt Ltd and Bhagwanti Exports Pvt Ltd.

He stays away from the media and doesn’t seek publicity, but there are certain media reports whenever his name is mentioned in the same breath as some of the big names like Farhan Akhtar, Mukesh Bhatt, and Bhushan Kumar, given the heft that he carries in the Bollywood distribution circuit.

Roughly, the man has been able to stay away from controversies, and one time that didn’t happen was at a party hosted by Ritesh Sidhwani, where Raveena reportedly had a clash with Anil’s ex-wife, Natasha.
