Rajat Sharma was born on 18 February 1957 in Delhi, India. He grew up in a modest ménage and faced several struggles during his early times. Despite fiscal rigors, he remained focused on education and completed his scale from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. His early exposure to pupil politics and writing laid the foundation for his journalism career.
Journalism Career and Rise to Fame
Rajat Sharma began his career as a intelligencer working with colorful publications before making a strong mark in TV journalism. His biggest advance came with the launch of “ Aap Ki Adalat ”, a unique interview- grounded debate show where prominent political leaders, celebrities, and public numbers face tough questions from the public.
In 1995, heco-founded India TV, which latterly came one of India’s leading Hindi news channels.
