Based in Patna, Bihar, what Khan Sir has done is reframe how millions of students approach preparation for competitive exams, which also has the added benefit of making quality education more affordable.
Early Life and Background
Born into the world as Faizal Khan in the year 1993, Khan Sir is from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. In a home which had a very strong base in service, his father was a contractor and his brother a commando in the Indian Army, he at first wanted to join the military. Although he did pass the NDA written exam, he was eliminated in the final round of selection because of physical health issues.

This break did, in fact, become the base for his teaching career. At the University of Allahabad, he pursued his higher education, which saw him get a B.Sc., an M.Sc., and an M.A. in Geography. As of 2026, Khan Sir will have turned 32 and is still inspiring a generation of aspirants with his great knowledge.

Khan Sir began his foray into teaching from the bottom. Out of a small coaching centre which had just a few students, he grew to become very popular, which is a result of his unique “Desi” teaching style. He uses Bhojpuri-infused Hindi and relatable real-life examples to break down complex subjects like international relations, map reading, and general science.
