Nehal Chudasama is a well-known Indian model, fitness expert, actress, and television personality. She rose to national prominence after winning the prestigious Miss Diva Universe 2018 title and representing India at Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok. She has become an example of someone who embodies self-improvement, confidence, discipline, and determination through her long history of being a beauty queen.

Her return to television after years of absence was marked by her participation as a competitor in the 19th season of Bigg Boss, which began airing in 2025.

Nehal Patel was born in Mumbai, India, on August 22, 1996. Nehal grew up in a Gujarati family in Mumbai, India; however, when she was just 13 years old, she suffered the devastating loss of her mother; this single traumatic event helped shape her resilient character, and ultimately helped her to make a happy life for herself with the guidance and support of her father.

Nehal attended St. Rocks School (High School) and went on to receive a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Thakur College of Science and Commerce. While in school, she was interested in fitness and got her certification as a fitness consultant.

Nehal was a victim of body-shaming growing up and was encouraged by the body shamers to lose her excess weight, instead of giving up. Nehal was motivated by the negative comments from others to reach her fitness goals, and she did so with discipline and mental strength through training, lifestyle changes, and healthy eating.

Nehal is now not only able to live a physically healthy lifestyle; she also has the self-confidence she needs to make changes within her own life. In recent days, she continues to tell her story with the intent of encouraging others to love themselves and have positive thoughts toward their body!

Nehal Chudasama has achieved success in pageantry, having participated in Femina Miss India and being one of the finalists for Miss India Gujarat. At the same time, she represented India on the international stage at the Miss Universe 2018 level.  She became the first Miss Diva Universe 2018! Not only did Nehal win the main title, but she also gained special titles such as Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Multimedia.

Nehal competed at and represented India at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. Nehal’s stage presence and confident demeanor captured the attention of both the judging panel and audience alike; she certainly made her mark on the audience, despite not being able to place in the top three positions.

After succeeding in pageantry, Nehal Chudama has expanded her career with various opportunities as a model/actress with companies like Maybelline, Reliance Trends, and Oppo.

As an actress, Nehal has demonstrated versatility in her performances through several productions, including both “The Holiday” (2019) and “Tu Zakhm Hai” (2022). She will continue to develop her acting portfolio by taking on the lead role of Janet in the upcoming feature film “Laila Manju”, which will be released in 2024.

In addition, Nehal is an accomplished host/public speaker; she has presented numerous events/public awareness campaigns. Her success on “Bigg Boss” for several seasons has established a tremendous following because of her calming and positive disposition.

Nehal is currently living in Mumbai, where she leads a disciplined life through health and fitness. Also, she is actively involved in the promotion of women’s empowerment and health awareness.
