A B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) is a very popular undergraduate degree in India. Traditional B.Sc. programs usually run for three years and include study of Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology, Statistics and Computer Science.
In large part, what we see is the development of a strong academic base in a chosen field, which includes lectures, practical work, assignments and exams. Personally, I am not one to choose a degree based just on the fact that “BS is the cooler choice right now”. I look at the syllabus, faculty, laboratory resources, internships, project requirements, placement record, fees and postgraduate options before I make my decision.
