Katrina Kaif opened up about a peculiar habit of hers that often leaves her husband, Vicky Kaushal, with a puzzled expression. The couple, who tied the knot a little over two years ago, frequently reflect on the impact they’ve had on each other’s lives. During a recent interview, Katrina shed light on Vicky‘s role in boosting her self-confidence, particularly when she finds herself fretting over her appearance before stepping out of the house in the morning.

In a candid conversation with Hello magazine, Katrina delved into the struggle with self-image and confidence, revealing, “There are moments when I find myself fussing before heading out for an event. I might come across something that doesn’t sit well with me, be it a costume or a hairdo. Then my husband will gently remind me, ‘Aren’t you the one who preaches that it’s Kay to be you?'” ‘It’s Kay to be you’ serves as the tagline for Katrina’s cosmetics brand, Kay Beauty.
Additionally, Katrina touched upon her emotional well-being and how she nurtures her soul through reading. She confessed to occasionally indulging in philosophical literature, but when Vicky catches her immersed in such books, his expression betrays sheer bewilderment. “I delve into these books not out of a desire to flaunt knowledge but because they help quiet the chaos in my mind. Yet, my husband often looks at me with a perplexed expression upon seeing the book I’m absorbed in. But for me, this is the solace I seek,” she elaborated.
While Katrina finds solace in philosophical readings, she acknowledges that Vicky’s approach to life is more organic. “There are individuals like my husband who, in my opinion, navigate life without the need for such readings. They embrace life authentically and organically, and I find that immensely beautiful,” she remarked.

On the work front, Katrina was recently seen in Sriram Raghavan’s “Merry Christmas” and is set to star in Farhan Akhtar’s “Jee Le Zaraa” alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. Meanwhile, Vicky made a cameo appearance in “Dunki” and is gearing up for Laxman Utekar’s upcoming project, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
