Nikkhil Advani, who has previously worked with Salman Khan on films like Hero, recently revealed that Salman feels genuinely disappointed when his movies don’t surpass the ₹300 crore mark, making future collaborations challenging.
In a conversation with The Lallantop, Advani discussed the immense expectations surrounding Salman Khan’s films. He explained, “There seems to be an unspoken rule that Salman’s films must gross ₹300 crores. If they fall short, it affects him significantly. I prefer to focus on creating films that I am passionate about, without the burden of reaching such colossal box office numbers.”

Despite the professional gap, Advani spoke highly of Salman, referring to him as the “messiah” of the film industry. He highlighted Salman’s reliability, noting that the actor is always ready to assist anyone in need, regardless of the circumstances.
On the work front, Nikkhil Advani is gearing up for the release of his action drama Vedaa, featuring John Abraham, Sharvari, and Abhishek Banerjee. Written by Aseem Arora, the film is set to premiere in theaters on August 15, 2024. It will face competition from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is preparing for the 18th season of his reality show Bigg Boss and is also involved in the upcoming AR Murugadoss-directed film Sikandar, presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, which is expected to release on Eid 2025.
