Hansraj Raghuwanshi, more popularly known as Baba Ji, was born on 18th July 1992 in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. His family shifted to Mangal Village in Kunihar Tehsil, Solan District, Himachal Pradesh.

Education

The schooling of Raghuwanshi was initiated in Government School Kasol, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. He followed his education in Solan. He started studying for a B.Com degree through MLSM College, Sundernagar, Chaterokhri, Himachal Pradesh. He couldn’t make his way up through the B.Com course and failed four times in the second year. After which he left. He joined BA in Music from the same college.

Career

Hansraj Raghuwanshi is an Indian singer, songwriter, and music composer, famous for his devotional songs on Lord Shiva. His first popular song was “Baba Ji” in 2016, a debut Hindi devotional track. Subsequently, he released many hits in 2018, of which some most popular ones were “Shimla Girl”, “Ganga Kinare”, “Ganja Ganja”, and “Baba Badnaam.” Hansraj Raghuwanshi’s 2019 hit single, Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari” transformed him into an instant sensation, garnering millions of views on YouTube within hours of its release.

He went on to become a popular singer with devotional hits like “Shiv Kailasho Ke Vasi” in 2019, “Laagi Lagan Shankara” in 2020, “Shiv Samarahe” in 2021, and “Main Shiv Ka Shiv Mere” in 202.

In 2019, he made his Hindi cinema debut with the track “Aadha Bhi Zyaada” for the film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas,’ starring Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba. The following year, he was seen joining forces with popular singer Richa Sharma for the Hindi number ‘Duntara.’

Raghuwanshi has also performed live in 2022 at the Isha Foundation on the occasion of Shivratri, under the aegis of Spiritual Leader Sadhguru. He has been performing at various festivals and other occasions throughout the state of Himachal Pradesh and in other states of India.
