Masaba Gupta, daughter of Nina Gupta, the famous fashion designer, welcomed her first child, a girl, yesterday. It looks like Nina is planning to take a short break from her film career to spend time with her daughter and granddaughter. In a recent interview, the veteran actress revealed that she had turned down two projects and is taking a 3-4 month break to help Masaba settle into motherhood. She mentioned that she will return to work with the highly anticipated Panchayat Season 4.
In a conversation with IANS, Neena said, “I turned down two projects because I want my daughter to adjust to her new life. I’ve taken a short break for 2-3 months, and I’ll return directly with Panchayat-4. I enjoy taking care of my daughter.”

Nina shared that Masaba always dreamed of having a daughter, and her first reaction after the birth was excitement, exclaiming, “Now she can use all my bags and jewelry!”
Nina also said being a grandmother is still a new feeling for her, and she is helping Masaba adjust to life with her newborn.

In the same interview, Nina talked about her upcoming projects, Malayalam web series 1000 Babies. He described his reaction to the script as being completely surprised by its brilliant and intriguing story, and especially the conclusion.
On future projects, he revealed that he has recently completed work on Metro in Dino, Anurag Basu’s soon-to-be-released film, and Panchayat Season 4. He also said that he has four other projects lined up, including Ari with Rakul preet and the anthology Preet, Hindi Bindi is also scheduled to premiere in Sydney in November.
