Born in India on April 24, 1973 Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is considered by many to be among the best cricket players in history. Known as the “Master Blaster,” he was a right handed batsman who excelled in all game types throughout an unparalleled career that lasted more than 20 years.

Tendulkar scored an incredible 15,921 runs at an average of 53.78 in 200 Test cricket matches including 51 hundreds and 68 half-centuries. His supremacy in the longest format is still demonstrated by his maximum score of 248.
ODIs: He scored 18,426 runs at an average of 44.83 in 463 games including 96 fifties and 49 hundreds. In ODI cricket, his unprecedented double century (200*) set a new record.
