Background
Mastram originally launched on MX Player on April 30, 2020, and became popular at once for its unapologetic adult fiction, tracing the story of a dissatisfied 1980s-era writer, Rajaram, who writes erotic novels under the name “Mastram” . Because of rule amendments (IT Rules 2021), MX Player took it away—but ULLU did pick up the rights later on, reprising the series from 2023 onwards .

Plot & Format

Set as a sequel to the first instalment, Part 2 tracks the now-famous author Rajaram, whose double life as a family man and “Mastram” intensifies. The series explores his battle to remain anonymous with public fame, temptation, and artistic limits . With a number of “twists and turns”, Part 2 takes the erotic drama in a narrative format.
The format retains multiple short episodes (around 25–30 minutes), each interweaving fantasy elements, character development, and boundary-breaking content—imitating the original season ‘s style.
