Safin Hasan is recognized as India’s youngest IPS officer, admired for his brilliant academic career and social service.

Childhood and Educational History
Birth: Born on 21 July 1995 in Palanpur district, Kanodar village, Gujarat.
Family: Mustafa Hasan’s son was brought up in a poor family—his dad was an electrician while his mum was working in a diamond unit before working to make rotis to keep the family going.
Education: Studied at school in his village; school fees for 11th grade were waived by the school, as per DNA India.
College: Finished B. Tech in Electronics from NIT Surat before moving to Delhi to study for UPSC.
Professional Experience & Awards
UPSC accomplishment: at the age of 22, with AIR 570 2018, passed the Civil Services Exam and received the IOC on the first try.
IPS Appointment: Member of the 2018 IPS batch, became Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on 23 December 2019.
Outstanding Resilience: Overcame a knee ligament tear on test day but continued to work through the remainder of the tests.
