Shivam Anil Patare, born on June 22, 2003, in Takalibhan, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, has surfaced as one of the promising youthful kabaddi players from his region. He’s the son of Anil Patare, a retired PT schoolteacher and former university- position kabaddi player, and Mangal Patare, a partner. With a strong sporting culture at home, Shivam’s interest in kabaddi started at a veritably youthful age.

Trip into Kabaddi

His kabaddi trip began in the 3rd standard, when he induced his academy PT schoolteacher to form a kabaddi platoon. Guided originally by his father, Shivam’s passion for the game snappily turned into a serious pursuit. Over time, he trained under reputed trainers like Kailash Jagdale, Anil Jagdale, Rahul Kokane, Wasim Inamdar, Aslam Inamdar, and Manpreet Singh, who helped upgrade his ways and competitive mindset.

Playing Style and Strengths

Specializing as a Left Aggressor, Shivam is best known for his perk points and sharp marauding chops. His speed, dexterity, and thickness on the mat have been pivotal in securing palms for his brigades. His capability to deliver under pressure makes him a precious asset for any team.

Represented Ahmednagar District in KMP YKS 2024.

Played in the Pro Kabaddi League( PKL) with Haryana Steelers.

Won third place at the Khelo India Youth Games in both 2020 and 2022.

Achieved his first Super 10 in PKL Season 10 against the Telugu elephants.
