Early Life & Background

Nia Sharma was born in 1990 in Delhi, India, as Neha Sharma. She is a part of a Hindu Brahmin family. Her mother, Usha Sharma, has been the rock for her throughout; she also has an elder brother, Vinay Sharma, who is in the corporate field. Nia did her schooling at St. Xavier’s School in Delhi and went on to get a degree in Mass Communication at the Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) at Rohini. Before getting into the entertainment industry, of which she is a part today, at one point, journalism was her dream.

As of 2025, Nia Sharma is 35. She is of a height of about 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm) and weighs around 50 kg. Known for her bold look and health-conscious approach, she maintains a very healthy lifestyle and is very much into her fitness routine. Her black hair and brown eyes, along with a very confident personality, make her the face of glamour in Indian TV.

Career Journey & Television Shows

Nia Sharma started out in 2010 with the TV show Kaali Ek Agnipariksha, which saw her in a supporting role. In 2011, she broke through in the role of Manvi Chaudhary in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, which introduced to a large audience an animated and very emotional character, which in turn brought out great success and critical praise for her.

Bhagya did a fantastic job as Brinda, which was very well received.

Apart from fiction, which is for sure, Nia also took part in reality, which she did very well. In 2017, she enrolled for Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 8, and that’s when she caught the attention of the audience. Later in 2020, she won the title of Khatron Ke Khiladi Made in India. Through the years, we see her in many web series and music videos, constantly reinventing herself and taking on many a role.
