Zainab Ravdjee is a contemporary artist, perfumer, and lifestyle aficionado who has gained recognition as an artist for her unique vision and creativity. While many have only become aware of Zainab as being married to Telugu film actor Akhil Akkineni, she had already established herself as a successful artist through multiple exhibitions, entrepreneurship, and creativity.

Early Life and Education

Zainab was born in 1985 in Hyderabad, Telangana, into a well-off family where her parents encouraged her to be creative, as well as to think independently. She completed high school at Gitanjali School and attended Nasr School in Hyderabad. Zainab’s interest in art began at an early age, and she ultimately decided that she wanted to pursue a fine arts degree at Hamstech College of Creative Education.

Art wasn’t just a hobby for Zainab; it was her outlet for expressing deep thoughts and feelings. Inspired by diverse cultures and styles, she sought more than what India offered. So, Zainab moved to Dubai, where she began making abstract pieces that really hit home with folks at art events. As a result, her work caught the attention of many collectors and art lovers.

Her experience as an artist started to develop when Zainab was living in London, where she began working on her painting skills. Since that time, Zainab has been able to display her artwork in many different parts of the world, allowing her not only to pursue her passion but also to share her artwork with many other individuals who will connect with her. Zainab’s exhibition of her art, shown in “Reflections” at Kalakriti Gallery, was a great way for Zainab to reach out to the world and show off her unique artwork while also being recognised as a contemporary artist in India. Zainab uses her experiences of life as the inspiration for her art so that she is able to express herself as an artist through this method of creating.
