Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif two of Bollywood’s top actresses, have kept up a close bond through the years. They were even set to team up on a film titled Jee Le Zaraa, but it hasn’t started production yet. The pair’s friendship was also evident during their appearance on a chat show together in 2017. Let’s revisit the time when Katrina revealed that she texts Alia in the middle of the night just to inquire about Instagram.
Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif appeared on an episode of the show ‘BFFs with Vogue’ in coordinated monochrome outfits. Host Neha Dhupia mentioned that they were twinning. Upon hearing the term, Katrina inquired if it was an Instagram term to which Alia responded affirmatively.
Then Katrina shared about their late-night discussions. She stated, “Alia is my Instagram guide. In the middle of the night, I text her at 2-3 am, ‘My photo is not fitting in my Instagram, what do I do?’”
The Merry Christmas actress shared Alia’s reply, which was, ‘You have to make it smaller’ to which she would respond, ‘I tried.’ Katrina added that she then realized it was 1:00 am and not the appropriate time to be asking people questions.
Returning to their movie Jee Le Zaraa, it was formally announced in 2021. Alia and Katrina, along with Priyanka Chopra, posted the announcement video of the road trip film on their Instagram accounts.
Sharing a picture with her two female friends, Alia wrote on Instagram, “Two years ago, three girls came together with one dream. There was only one place to go to make that dream come true; to four of the most fun dream-makers and storytellers in the industry @faroutakhtar @zoieakhtar @reemakagti1 @ritesh_sid. The filming of the movie has been delayed several times. However, in a recent exclusive interview, Farhan Akhtar mentioned that he will “definitely” direct Jee Le Zaraa.
