What is the story of the Baghban movie?

In “Baghban,” Raj (Amitabh Bachchan), a dedicated banker, and his wife Pooja (Hema Malini) have raised their four sons with the expectation that their children will care for them in their old age. However, upon Raj’s retirement, their plans take an unfortunate turn. The sons propose a heartless arrangement: Raj should live with the eldest son (Aman Verma), while Pooja stays with the second-oldest (Samir Soni). After six months, the younger two sons will each take a parent. The film explores whether the sons will maintain this cruel plan or realize the value of family and compassion.
